I am looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful school in the BS24 area in West-Super-Mare. To be successful for this role, you will need to have prior experience working with children.You will be joining a fabulous Primary School who have worked hard to build a community within the school of staff, students and parents.The RoleThis role is a part-time position where you will be working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays within their year 1 classroom. You will be supporting the Class Teacher with group work and working 1:1 supporting interventions and additional needs.The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who is patient, caring and can bring an enthusiastic approach to the classroom.You will be expected to:
  • Have previous experience working with children.
  • Be adaptable with strategies and techniques to allow each child to access the curriculum.
  • Implement planned activities and adjust according to the students’ response and development.
  • Support the children on a social, educational and emotional aspect.
