Job Opportunity: Head Chef - Events venueAre you a passionate and confident chef with a flair for creating exceptional food? I am looking for a Events chef who is happy to lead the events in a great venue. On a day to day bases you will work alone but will have a support team for larger events. Monday to Friday with a couple of nights during the week but good work life balance and fully in control of each event.You will be part of a much bigger company team with the support of an executive chef team and , working in a stunning events space in the heart of the city. From elegant canapés and private dining to vibrant buffets and creative bowl food, you'll have the chance to showcase your skills across a variety of exciting functions.What You'll Do:
  • Take charge of the kitchen for on-site events, leading the team to deliver high-quality dishes that delight our clients and their guests.
  • Run the events on your own supporting other with in the bigger business.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to tailor menus, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Support the company's executive chef in managing culinary operations across other venues in the city when no events are scheduled at your primary location.
  • Work confidently both independently and as a team leader, maintaining high standards and a positive work environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • A confident and outgoing sous chef with current experience in events catering.
  • Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, work independently, and lead a team with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • A creative, client-focused approach to menu development and delivery.
  • Flexibility to work primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings depending on event schedules.
