
Specialist CAMHS Practitioner/Clinical Psychologist

- You must be registered/accredited with a professional body. e.g. NMC, SW England, UKCP, HCPC, BACP
- You must have a recognised qualification in one of the following specialities: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D. Clin Psych) Registered Nursing: RMN/RSCN/RNMH Social Work (CQSW/DipSW) Occupational Therapy
- Qualifications in Psychotherapeutic approaches, e.g., CBT/IAPT qualification and/or accreditation
- Mentorship course ENB998 or equivalent.
- Qualification in research/audit
- Relevant postgraduate or masters level qualification.
- You must have substantial post qualification experience of working in Young People's mental health services.
- Experience of working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (i.e., Inpatient or CAMHS)
- Proven experience of working effectively with people with mental health difficulties in the community and/or inpatient services.
- Extensive experience of assessing and managing risk: including safeguarding.
- Extensive experience of developing and providing evidenced based assessments, formulations, and intervention programmes to children, young people and families
- Experience of liaison and working with a range of other relevant agencies.
- Experience of complex caseload management, frequently dealing with distressing and emotional circumstances, working within a multidisciplinary mental health setting
- Experience of mentoring and supervision of others
- Understanding of the principles of Clinical Governance and a willingness to follow Trust Policy and Procedures
- Post qualification experience of a specific therapy working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
