That's Grant Thornton.Job Description:Senior Manager, CDD Policy & AdvisoryNew Ground won't break itselfEvery day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals.A look into the roleThe Financial Crime team, led by the firm’s MLRO, provides oversight and support to the firm on managing financial crime risk and compliance.Reporting to the Head of Client Due Diligence Policy & Advisory. The team leads on the development, maintenance, and implementation of our CDD policy and standards, ensuring our CDD framework is robust, risk-aligned, and operationally efficient while meeting regulatory expectations. The team also leads the training strategy for the CDD team and supporting a professional approach to client outreach, helping drive consistency, quality, and client experience.This is a senior role requiring deep subject matter expertise and strategic thinking. The role will support ongoing change on CDD and wider onboarding.Knowing you’re right for usThe minimum criteria you’ll need is extensive experience at Manager / Senior Manager level in :CDD/AML Policy roles in UK regulated firms, with experience around providing advice and making decisions on complex corporate / entity related due diligence.Deep understanding of global CDD/KYC regulatory frameworks, industry best practices and technology including automation and AI.Strong track record of drafting, implementing, and managing policy, standards and guidance documents.Experience designing and leading training and capability-building initiatives related to CDD.Experience of influencing senior stakeholders.Proven success in managing and supporting change including supporting CDD transformation initiatives .Knowing we’re right for youEmbracing uniqueness, the culture at Grant Thornton thrives on the contributions of all our people, we never settle for what is easy, we look beyond to deliver the right thing, for everyone.
