This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the largest trusts in the country, supporting children and young people who are looked after, ensuring they have the best possible opportunities and stability in their lives.What You Can Expect:Hybrid working with only 2 days per week required in the officeSupportive management and regular supervisionOpportunity to work within a forward-thinking Trust that puts children at the heart of decision-makingDiverse caseload offering variety and challengeDuties and Responsibilities:Hold a caseload of children in care, ensuring effective care planning and permanence outcomesSupport foster carers and residential providers in meeting the needs of children and young peopleUndertake statutory visits, assessments and reviews in line with legislationPrepare and present high-quality reports for court, reviews and multi-agency meetingsMentor and support less experienced colleagues, offering guidance and professional expertiseWork closely with multi-agency partners to deliver the best outcomes for childrenRequirements:SWE RegistrationRecognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)Significant post-qualified experience within Children in Care or Looked After Children servicesStrong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of care planning regulationsCourt and multi-agency working experienceAbility to work independently while contributing to a supportive team cultureThis is a fantastic locum opportunity for a skilled Senior Practitioner looking to join a progressive and supportive service where your expertise will make a real difference to children and young people in care.Apply today or contact Emily Cooper for more information – 07745200325 |
