Up to £45,000 + Car allowance and benefitsWe have partnered with a global manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. This opportunity will give you the chance to help shape and influence the company's HSE culture across 3 of their strategic sites in the West Midlands and Cumbria.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, who have a strong name in their field and are looking to appoint an engaging and proactive individual, to take HSE to the next level. The organisation can offer fantastic career and personal development, you will also work closely with a wider team of HSE professionals who are big on collaboration and sharing of best practices.The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will be responsible for:- Working collaboratively with the HSE Director to develop and implement the HSE strategy across the sites
- You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
- You will drive cultural change, bringing HSE to the forefront
- Coaching, managing and developing various senior stakeholders will be essential
- Ensure standards are met and continually improved upon
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externallyThe Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will have:- Must have experience of working within a high risk manufacturing or engineering environments
- Nebosh GC minimum, ideally NEBOSH Diploma or NCRQ equivalent
- IEMA Qualification
- Knowledge of management systems of ISO 14001, 45001
- Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital
