Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Sales in achieving departmental and company objectives.
- Generate and qualify new leads through phone calls and emails, building and expanding the customer base.
- Schedule and manage follow-up calls and actions; maintain detailed records of activities.
- Communicate lead information to the external sales team.
- Follow up on old leads as directed by sales team members.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system, including calls, meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Conduct cold calls to potential new clients to build a dedicated client portfolio.
- Maintain and update the SharePoint database with customer rate files.
- Compile monthly reports on turnover from new accounts won by the sales team.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of sales materials and brochures, placing new orders when required.
- Previous experience in a sales administrator or sales support role preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) with solid general IT knowledge.
- Understanding of logistics processes is desirable (training provided if required).
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong coordination and time-management skills.
