If you're passionate about mechanical design and want to work in a flexible, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.About the RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of mechanical design activities for complex machinery. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring designs meet technical specifications, budgets, and performance KPI’sKey Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer role:
  • Design new machinery using SolidWorks and CAD tools
  • Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, parts lists, and bills of materials
  • Review and approve colleagues’ designs via PDM and ERP systems
  • Lead mechanical design efforts within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Create and manage risk assessments and technical documentation
  • Collaborate internationally with engineers from other disciplines
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and contribute to process improvements
What We’re Looking for in the Ideal Mechanical Design Engineer:
  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering
  • Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD design
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required
