Finance Business Partner - Belfast - £43,000 - £46,600 - 3-Month ContractThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and public sector experience to contribute to an organisation that delivers vital services across Northern Ireland.Key Responsibilities· Lead on budgeting and forecasting, monitoring spend against forecasts and preparing monthly expenditure reviews.· Provide accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports.· Analyse financial data, identify pressures and savings opportunities, and present insights to senior stakeholders.· Reconcile payroll and salary forecasts with the General Ledger, including agency staff.· Support long-term financial planning, policy development, and process improvement.· Engage with budget holders to provide financial advice and ensure effective cost management.· Contribute to the automation and standardisation of financial reporting packs.About You· Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).· Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations).· Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data, providing clear insights.· Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with non-financial colleagues.· Previous public sector finance experience highly desirable.If you are interested in hearing more or to be considered for this role, apply here or contact Sophie Keogh at Cpl NI.
