This is a brilliant opportunity to support young people aged 5–16 who present with behaviours that challenge—often linked to Autism, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.🎒 What You'll Be Doing:This role is dynamic, hands-on, and deeply rewarding. You’ll play a key part in helping students stay engaged, regulate their emotions, and build positive routines and relationships.You’ll be:
  • 🧠 Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
  • 🔄 Using de-escalation techniques and behaviour support strategies
  • 📊 Following individual behaviour plans and visual routines
  • 🌱 Encouraging independence, resilience, and emotional regulation
  • 🤝 Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
🧩 What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience (or a genuine interest!) in supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour
  • A calm, consistent, and compassionate approach
  • A good understanding of safeguarding (or willingness to undertake training)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for one
