Class 1 Trunking Driver
Location: Banbury
Hours: 4 on, 2 off | 07:00pm start
Pay: £18.37 per hour (Overtime after 39 hours: £23.45 per hour), Saturday £27.56, Sunday £36.74
Job Type: Temp to PermAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 Trunking Driver to join our client's team based in Banbury.Benefits:

The Role:
  • Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo (especially flatbed deliveries)
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and potential delays
The Requirements:
  • A valid C+E entitlement on your driving licence
  • A valid UK CPC card
  • A valid UK Digital Tachograph card
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
  • Right to work documentation in the UK
  • Strong English language skills for safety and communication
