***NMC Registration Required (Nursing & Midwifery Council) EssentialThere is now an opportunity for a nurse with occupational health experience to work alongside with one of the UK's leading occupational health providers. The role is a multi-site position based in and around East London.The responsibilities of this role are to provide occupational health services for company employees and managers across a variety of sites.Dependent on experience of the successful candidates, candidates will be entitled to a salary of up to £42,500 a year.The post holder will take overall responsibility for the effective day to day management of the OH service, raising the profile promoting health through delivery of a pro-active OH service whilst working closely with external organisations.The post holder's own practice should be developed to an advanced level, providing specialist advice and management plans to fulfil clients OH requirements.The post holder will work with the Medical and Nursing Director to deliver a programme of practice development for staff within their team to ensure delivery of consistently high quality evidence based OH services to DHC and clients.SkillsWe are looking for candidates to take a proactive approach and have strong skills in the following areas:
- Full OH Remit
- Case Management
- Fit for Work medicals
- Health Surveillance
- Health Promotion
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health, H&S and other guidelines/legislation
- Advise, monitor, and assess clinical practice of the OH team
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health, H&S and other guidelines/legislation
- Assess, plan, implement, deliver and evaluate programmes of care
- Work with divisional directors/managers to implement company objectives
- Recognise the development needs of junior, or less experienced staff, take appropriate action and maintain and monitor any training plans
- Explore and develop further OH business opportunities
- Recruit, select and orientate new staff

****NMC Registration Essential (Nursing & Midwifery Council)

*** Full UK Driving LicenseThe successful Occupational Health Advisor would be required to maintain excellent client relationships, for this reason successful candidates must be able to organise, prioritise and co-ordinate their workload.
