- The following certifications are a plus: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, ITIL Service Management
- Technology SDLAN (CISCO SDA) , CISCO DNAC, CISCO ISE, BIG IP , DDI and SDWAN – CISCO
- Experience and troubleshooting in routing (OSPF / BGP routing protocols), VPN and Wireless
- Knowledge of Tools Design and implementation for Thousand eyes, CISCO Spaces and Stealth watch.
- Good Knowledge of Security Technologies.
- Degree/Degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Assess the organization's network infrastructure and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Design, develop, and document network architecture blueprints, including high-level and low-level network designs.
- Define network standards, protocols, and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into network designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and software developers, to develop comprehensive network solutions.
- Define technical requirements, specifications, and standards for network equipment, protocols, and services.
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing and evaluate the feasibility and performance of proposed network solutions.
- Design and configure network components, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points, to meet functional and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate security controls and mechanisms into network designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to network security.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies to proactively address network security concerns.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct network capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate future growth and expansion.
- Optimize network configurations, protocols, and QoS (Quality of Service) settings for optimal performance.
- Perform periodic audits and assessments of network infrastructure to ensure adherence to design standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and select appropriate network solutions.
- Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide technical guidance and support during the procurement process for network equipment and services.
- Create detailed network design documents, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and cost estimates for network implementation projects.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to stakeholders, including management and technical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Participate in architecture review boards and provide expertise and recommendations on network-related projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and best practices to enhance professional knowledge and expertise.
