- Assist the business in contract negotiations and successful project delivery
- Contribute to the success of commercial proposals with a distribution of risks and based on terms acceptable to the Company.
- Support the completion of projects within time and budget; contribute to the mitigation of risks and the maximization of profits resulting from the execution of projects.
- Acting not only as a functional expert but also and above all as trusted advisor and business partner across the Company.
- Ensure Saipem's standard contracting rules are adequately applied to all contracts, both with customers and suppliers/subcontractors, always in consideration of the perceived level of risks that each of them involves.
- Acquire a strong knowledge of Saipem's global organization, services and assets.
- Proven experience on similar role.
- Law degree or similar.
- Proficiency in professional English writing.
- Strong legal expertise, including LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms, Norwegian Law (preferred), and both common and civil law systems with a focus on contract law and partnership agreements.
- Good knowledge of the Company's core business areas such as Oil & Gas, EPC contracts, platform components, Offshore plants and subsea fields installation.
- Meticulous in contract preparation and management, ensuring legal compliance.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, and align actions with short- and long-term business goals while adapting to market trends and organizational needs.
