The purchase ledger clerk will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the accounting and finance department. This temporary role is ideal for those with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update the purchase ledger with all transactions in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accurate account balances.
  • Handle payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments.
  • Assist with resolving supplier queries and discrepancies.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to the purchase ledger.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Provide reports and updates to the accounting and finance team as required.
