About The RoleFDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an ERP Technical Analyst to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Solihull.Our client is seeking experienced and detail-oriented ERP Technical Analyst to join their ERP Technical Team. This is a critical role in supporting the operation of a large and complex ERP environment and in shaping their future transformation to new ERP platforms.As an ERP Technical Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of ERP Technical Delivery to ensure the stability, security, and effectiveness of our ERP landscape, with a focus on SAP and related systems. You will advise on technical architecture, integration design patterns, platform governance, and best practices, playing a key role in delivering high-quality ERP services across both business-as-usual (BAU) operations and strategic programmes.Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of robust governance frameworks, owning technical aspects where appropriate
Enable seamless operations across critical stakeholder platforms
Advocate for and support the adoption of optimal, innovative ERP solutions
Contribute to the definition and documentation of ERP technical architecture and strategy
Maintain up-to-date, high-quality technical documentation and design patterns
Administer essential control artefacts and strategies related to servers, integrations, and developments
Contribute to technical aspects of programme and project delivery, including the design, implementation, and assurance of technical components
Assist with managing technical spend forecasts and tracking technical debt
Contribute to supplier license optimisation and contract compliance related to ERP systems
