  • Hours: Full-time, Permanent, 39 hours per week
  • Salary: £40,000
  • Location: Bilston

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Conduct regular PUWER and LOLER compliance checks
  • Help develop a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) system
  • Work with production and logistics teams to reduce downtime
  • Keep clear and accurate maintenance records
  • Coordinate with external engineers and contractors when required
  • Support a safety-first culture and mentor junior engineers
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer in a manufacturing setting
  • Must hold a Level 3 Installation Electrician / Maintenance Electrician qualification or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
  • Familiarity with health and safety legislation (PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR)
  • Comfortable using digital systems to log maintenance data
  • Good communicator with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Engineering qualifications preferred (training support available)
