Located in Chorley, they cater to diverse clients ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations and governments, creating unique tools, products, and even life-saving medical machinery.Your responsibilities will include supporting the Welding Coordinator and Quality Manager to ensure compliance to the highest standards of mechanical products used in essential industries such as nuclear, aerospace and medical.This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in projects that have a real-world impact, such as developing components for critical applications in aerospace, medical, and defence industries.   • Maintain quality records of reviews and checks to enable quality oversight and the assurance that quality is delivered
  • Participate as required in the production/review of the welding, fabrication and quality inspection documentation
  • Participates in oversight of the review and acceptance of Quality Plans/Inspection & Test Plans
  • Support in establishing effective manufacturing, welding and fabrication programmes plans that enable coverage of identified risks
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients and engineering teams
  • Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4pm (Friday 12.30 Finish)
The Person:
  • Graduate Engineer or a background in welding or fabrication
