Requirements
  • Degree/diploma in Radiography or equivalent is essential
  • Experience in similar role
  • Current professional membership required
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
  • Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist in a broad range of work activities associated with the use of radioactive substances in the investigation and treatment of patients
  • The performance of radionuclide imaging and organ uptake measurements (including non-routine and complex investigations), and the quantitative analysis of image data
  • Preparation of data for clinical reporting
  • The performance of in-vitro studies including GFR tests and the quantitative analysis of the data
  • Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of radiography specifically within nuclear medicine
  • Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
  • Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
  • Support the service's leadership team as required
