DH Recruitment Gatwick are recruiting for a Assistant Manager for a client based in Crawley Town Centre in a Charity store on the High Street. The Charity is a vibrant store to work in, from a range of customers. Each day is different, you’ll be assisting the Store Manager on different tasks. From helping run the store on a daily basis, serving customers, assisting in their purchases and managing the till. You’ll also be tasked with managing stock, bringing it from the back to the shop floor, to ensuring the prices are accurate.About you:
  • Previous management experience is beneficial
  • Previous customer service is essential
  • Experience in working with a charity store is advantageous
  • You take pride in helping a variety of customers from all walks of life
  • You have experience with handling Cash/Card payments
  • To be considered for the role, you must live within a 30 minute drive of Crawley town Centre
  • Able to be flexible in the work days
The Role
  • Stock the shop with donations from the public
  • Manage stock pricing
  • Control stock levels, ensure the successful delivery of sold items via the driver team
  • Assist with the management of staff, from Permanent staff to volunteers
  • Help the Store manager with daily tasks
  • 5 Days a week on a Monday to Sunday Rota
  • Monday – Saturday – 0900-1700
  • Sunday – 1000-1600
Experience Required
  • Management Experience
  • Retail Experience
  • Charity shop experience beneficial
