We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to contribute to our ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding primary health care to our patient population.Main duties of the role include:Providing clinical care in the treatment room, including wound care, injections, and immunisations.Supporting the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.Performing routine health checks, screenings, and vaccinations.Working collaboratively with the Lead Practice Nurse, GPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team.Contributing to the development and improvement of primary care services in response to increasing demand.We are looking for individuals with proven Primary Care nursing skills and experience, who can demonstrate safe, evidence-based clinical practice, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-centred care.Main duties of the jobProvide high-quality nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, including managing long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.Conduct routine health checks, screening, immunisations, and travel vaccinations, as well as treatment room procedures including wound care and minor procedures. Support patient self-management through education, advice, and health promotion.Work collaboratively with GPs, the Lead Practice Nurse, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, helping to shape and improve the patient experience at the practice.About usWe are a small but passionate close-knit surgery located in Kesgrave, surrounded by affluent and prosperous areas on the outskirts of Ipswich.
