Morson are currently recruiting experienced Manufacturing Engineers on 12 month contracts full time on site with our defence client based in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation at the forefront of advanced manufacturing, contributing to the assembly and integration of high-tech systems in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.Key Responsibilities:Create and update detailed Manufacturing Instructions to support efficient and cost-effective production.Design, commission, and validate production tooling.Support industrial validation activities, including FMEA, FAI, and related quality processes.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during manufacturing.Implement route card changes related to rework or design updates.Manage configuration control and incorporate design modifications into manufacturing documentation.Support the non-conformance process via SAP.Skills & Experience Required:Completed formal technical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 and Level 3 ONC)
or HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline with relevant industry experience.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop clear build instructions for both skilled and semi-skilled operators.Experience in electronic sub-assembly and system-level builds.Familiarity with assembling small or miniature electro-mechanical actuation systems.Strong communication and teamworking skills.Customer-focused with a strong understanding of engineering procedures and standards.
