We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Adviser who can embody and demonstrate the organisation's values and deliver excellent customer service to our internal stakeholders.You'll have an understanding of construction-based and engineering processes, the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and with our internal customers, in order to further the team and company objectives.The Quality team is part of the SHEQ team within YTL Construction UK and is successful not only because of the talented people that work in our team, but also the support we provide for each other and our stakeholders.What you'll doYou'll aim to deliver efficiencies to the business through a range of improvement and change initiatives.A key part of this is to provide advice and guidance, and maintain, monitor, audit and improve the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and document management via our management information system.You will be responsible for undertaking internal audits of our integrated quality management system, construction processes and procedures, while also supporting their continuous improvement by offering advice and guidance to all departments.You'll make sure that quality audits are undertaken at a variety of office and construction site locations internally and across external contractors.You'll participate in continual improvement projects, reviews and assist with any other duties assigned by the management team.In addition to auditing and quality management system administration tasks, you will be expected to work on your own initiative and actively support the implementation and development of new processes.Other duties will include;
  • managing and administering queries relating to the integrated management system
  • updating and publishing documentation within SharePoint
  • taking responsibility for communicating updates to the business through alerts and updates, using various software systems and databases
  • maintaining up-to-date and effective document management for the quality management system
  • playing an active role in facilitating the continuous improvement of the quality management system.
What you'll need
  • Internal quality audit experience and a qualification/certificate in auditing.
  • Good knowledge and an understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint, including any other systems that are needed to perform daily duties.
  • Excellent administration and task coordination skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work under own guidance and initiative.
  • Energy and enthusiasm to drive continuous improvement.
  • The ability to write concise, accurate audit reports and identify appropriate, effective and achievable corrective and preventive action.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Document management experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, including editing and publishing.
  • Awareness and knowledge of the Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015.
  • Experience in second-party management system audits.
  • The ability to carry out basic root cause analysis.
