Job DescriptionIn this role the person will be the responsible for ensuring success of business critical application operations by supporting the day to day batch processing, analyzing and fixing the issues on priority while adhering to standards and SLA's. The person should be able to support High priority(P1/P2) incidents dynamically by providing timely resolution for the problem and handle other service requests. The person will also be responsible for handling minor enhancements, perform code reviews, handle application outages(planned/unplanned) and responsible for performance and maintenance of the highly critical business application. For this role we are looking for a highly motivated Individual who will be working as Sr. operations analysts working in technologies such as Mainframe tech stack (JCL, COBOL, DB2), SQL Server, Linux etc. and operating in DevSecOps ModelThe person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business accumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes.Responsibilities
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies
  • Support & maintain applications by proactively resolving issues and enhance
application stability
  • Assist with product roadmap & business capabilities that align with the application
  • Continuously monitor application performance and vendor recommended patches &
upgrades
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to improve the quality and scalability of
supported systems and provide recommendations
  • Partner with the business on exploring new opportunities to add value using
technology
  • Experience on ITIL Process consulting and/or implementation
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work exp. with 6 plus years as an application engineer4-7 years exp. in ServiceNow QA, configuration and administration, Development experience in an enterprise environmentHands-on QA and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platformServiceNow implementation experience in ITSM Modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset)SNOW Administration experienceServiceNow certified Application AdminPreferred QualificationsCertifications Preferred: ITIL Foundations, ServiceNow Administration and development
