instructor of Motor Vehicles - Milton Keynes-instructor of Motor Vehicles- Education and TrainingAcademics are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist educational provision for an Instructor of Motor Vehicles based in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, term-time-only role (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday), offering a salary range of £26,519 to £35,125 (actual), depending on experience and qualifications.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in motor vehicle instruction and a passion for working with young people who face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. The position is based in Milton Keynes, within a well-established vocational workshop setting.Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging sessions in motor vehicle studies, including health and safety, engine building, and general maintenance.
Prepare and assess students for an accredited qualification (SEG).
Maintain a safe and well-equipped workshop environment.
Create schemes of work, lesson plans, and support materials tailored to a variety of learner needs.
Promote high levels of attendance, engagement, and course completion.

Requirements:

Recognised trade qualification and a minimum Level 2 qualification.
Experience working with students with additional needs is desirable.
Ability to plan and deliver accredited vocational training.
Commitment to student safety and well-being, including adherence to health and safety standards.
Strong communication and organisational skills.

The role will be based at a vocational provision in Milton Keynes, providing essential technical education to students with varying levels of need.
