Protocol Education is recruiting a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) at a large SEN school within a well-established trust in Shropshire.The school offers a strong network of expertise alongside a unique culture driven by exceptional leadership, teachers, and support staff. You will work alongside teachers in SEN classes to deliver tailored support, ensuring pupils with complex physical and learning needs can access education in a safe and nurturing environment.Here’s why your background makes you an ideal fit:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with PMLD in accessing learning and personal care
  • Assist communication through specialist aids and strategies
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and therapists to implement personalised plans
  • Help manage the smooth running of SEN classes
Who we’re looking for:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (experienced unqualified candidates considered)
  • Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex needs
  • Reliable, caring, and proactive with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to commute reliably to Shropshire
