Senior Software Delivery Manager
- London
- Permanent
- Full-time
- We believe all businesses are becoming internet businesses. Many clinics now actively ‘push’ online bookings and explore the benefits to handle phone calls with AI agents 24/7.
- We believe all revenue is moving towards monthly payments. People pay for more and more ‘stuff’ with a subscription, from cars to music. Dentists and vets are well positioned to benefit due to the strong, recurring relationships with patients.
- Delivery enablement: Ensure engineering teams have the structure, processes, and support to deliver predictably and effectively.
- Planning and execution: Partner with engineering leads and product managers to drive planning, execution, and roadmap clarity.
- Process design and facilitation: Define and continuously improve rituals like stand-ups, retros, sprint planning, and team ceremonies across squads.
- Risk and dependency management: Identify and communicate blockers and cross-team dependencies early and often.
- Communication: Improve transparency across engineering, product, and business stakeholders through clear reporting and shared visibility.
- Metrics: Define and track delivery KPIs (velocity, lead time, throughput) to inform improvements.
- Alignment: Ensure the right things are being worked on at the right time, and escalate misalignments early.
- Coaching: Elevate the delivery maturity of the organisation by mentoring teams on agile principles and lean execution.
- Scalability: Build systems and playbooks that scale as we double the size of the engineering function.
