‍ EYFS Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools | Sheffield & Barnsley | September 2025 Start ‍Do you have a passion for supporting young children at the very start of their education journey? We are seeking caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants to join a range of primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley.Location: Sheffield & BarnsleyRole: EYFS Teaching Assistant (Nursery & Reception)Start Date: September 2025 (immediate starts available)⏰ Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term-time only | Long-termYour Role:
  • Support children aged 3–5 in Nursery and Reception settings
  • Assist with play-based and structured learning activities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed
  • Encourage social, emotional, and educational development
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
✅ Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in Early Years (school or nursery setting)
  • TA qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or Early Years) desirable
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework is an advantage
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
