You’ll be making a real difference every single day—helping children with special educational needs feel supported, included, and ready to shine.What you’ll be doing:
- Championing 1:1 support – Helping children access learning in a way that works for them
- Tailoring learning – Assisting teachers with individual education plans that suit each child’s needs
- Boosting confidence – Encouraging, guiding, and celebrating every little win
- Keeping calm under pressure – Using positive strategies to manage behaviour and keep the classroom on track
- Building trust – Working closely with teachers, parents, and professionals to support each child’s journey
- Creating a safe space – Fostering an inclusive environment where every child feels they belong
- Have experience working with children who have SEN
- Understand that every child learns differently—and adapt your approach to suit
- Can bring patience, empathy, and a dash of humour to every day
- Hold the right to work in the UK (and a DBS, or are happy to get one)
