
Lead Pharmacy Technician - Automation and Systems Management

- BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science and NVQ3 or qualification in IT or equivalent
- Recognised Accredited Checking qualification
- Recognised practice supervision / E&T qualification
- NVQ in Pharmaceutical Services A1 or V1 qualification
- Medicines Management Qualification
- Wide experience of the use of the JAC/Wellsky Pharmacy Computer System, preferably at system management level
- Knowledge of Omnicell Robots and automated dispensing cabinets (ideally to system administrator level)
- Evidence of up to date CPD
- Experience with the Epic EPR system
- Working knowledge of networks, servers and other forms of IT communication
- Clear communication in English both verbal and written
- Able to complete projects to tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of customers, from patient to hospital consultant.
- Ability to identify and manage risk
