Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeCroydon Council are recruiting experienced Social Workers to join their Family Assessment Team on a permanent basis. The service has undergone significant improvement in recent years, with a stable leadership team and a clear vision focused on excellent frontline practice and the best possible outcomes for children and families.The Family Assessment Team is the first point of longer-term involvement following MASH and Initial Response. You’ll work with families through the Child in Need, Child Protection, and Pre-Proceedings stages, undertaking in-depth assessments, developing SMART plans, and delivering meaningful, relationship-based interventions.Croydon operates under a systemic, relationship-based model of practice, supported by Signs of Safety, a trauma-informed approach, and a strong commitment to supervision and professional development. The service structure supports Social Workers to focus on direct work, with caseloads kept under control and the child’s voice at the centre.What’s on offer:
