Free on-site parking is available.About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled PE Teacher to join our team from September 2025. This long-term role involves teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy living. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, organising sports activities, and contributing to the wider school sports programme.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality PE lessons across a variety of sports and fitness disciplinesInspire and motivate students to develop physical skills and an appreciation for health and fitnessPrepare lesson plans, monitor progress, and assess student performanceOrganise extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school teamsPromote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all studentsWork collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiativesRequirements:Previous experience teaching PE at secondary school levelExcellent knowledge of the PE curriculum and sports coaching techniquesStrong communication, leadership, and classroom management skillsA commitment to promoting active lifestyles and positive values through sportFlexibility, resilience, and a proactive approachQualifications:A degree in Physical Education or a related fieldQTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essentialAdditional coaching qualifications are desirableWhat We Offer:Competitive daily rate: £130 – £230 (based on experience and qualifications)Long-term position with potential for progressionOngoing professional development through Supply Desk LimitedSupportive school culture with a focus on student well-beingPension scheme and staff benefitsOpportunity to make a real impact through sport and education
