Vacancy ID : 50068Our Client is seeking an experienced and passionate Garden Maintenance Gardener to join their team full-time. You will be responsible for the ongoing care and maintenance of the beautifully designed, high-end private gardens across central London.You will work with one or two other team members to ensure these luxury landscapes built by their own design and construction teams are maintained to the highest possible standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, feeding, seasonal planting, and pest/disease control
- Monitor plant health and soil condition, and carry out any remedial work required
- Use and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Report any design issues, plant failures, or improvement suggestions to the horticulture or management team
- Ensure all works are conducted safely and respectfully on private residential properties
- Work collaboratively and professionally with team members and clients onsite
- Upload site images and notes to the internal system as part of ongoing monitoring and reporting
- Minimum 2 years experience in garden maintenance (private gardens or estates preferred), or relevant experience gained as part of a vocational course.
- Excellent plant knowledge and strong horticultural skills
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work well independently and as part of a small team
- Good communication and professional client-facing manner
- Physically fit and prepared to work in all weather
- Pesticides certifications are desirable but not essential
- UK driving licence preferred (not essential)
