Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible start and finish timesAbout the RoleWe are seeking an organised and detail-focused Assurance Support Officer to join our client's Digital and Technology Standards and Assurance (DTSA) team. The DTSA team ensures all digital and technology projects meet Government Digital Standards, helping deliver high-quality services people want to use.You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of requests, maintaining precise records, and supporting the coordination of digital service assessments and business case approvals. This includes handling service assessment requests, business case reviews, and general enquiries, as well as assisting in report production and supporting key meetings.Key Responsibilities
- Manage communications between requesters and the DTSA for service assessment requests and business case reviews.
- Set up, compile, and distribute work requests, ensuring a clear audit trail via SharePoint.
- Accurately update and maintain the Service Assessment Planner and Business Case Tracker.
- Coordinate outputs from governance meetings.
- Provide coaching and guidance on processes, procedures, and tools (templates, contacts, next steps).
- Attend and actively participate in weekly checkpoint meetings with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Assist with ad-hoc report production.
- Support cross-team collaboration to deliver excellent customer service.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Analytical skills for managing large datasets within tight deadlines using tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills (questioning, listening, and relationship-building).
- Experience working in a Project, Programme, or Portfolio Office environment, particularly within digital services.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and processes.
