- Customer experience in NHS or other establishment
- Sound knowledge of driving regulations and basic vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of vehicle preparation and security
- Knowledge of Health and safety, manual handling, infection prevention in relation to driving and linen services
- Must be able to read and write in English and have sound knowledge of numeracy
- Must have clean driving license

- Competent driving skills of large commercial type vehicles
- Very strong communication skills
- Well organised and systematic in method
- Competent skills in use of machinery
