- To communicate and update all customers on commercial aspects via email and telephone.
- To create new accounts for customers and maintaining data for existing clients.
- To process customer orders in ERP systems and help with customer progress requests.
- To complete invoicing and order acknowledgement processing
- To manage the quotation process and contract reviews.
- To support external Sales Engineer requests.
- To process customers claims, returns and credits.
- To update and manage CRM.
- To liaise with sales subsidiaries across Europe to gather relevant information for customer requests.
- Any previous experience in Customer Service.
- Candidates must be educated to at least GCSE level (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Mathematics or hold equivalent qualifications.
- A good understanding of Microsoft Packages specifically word and excel.
- To be able to prioritise and the ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience with MRP systems would also be beneficial but not essential.
- Coordinates communication between clients, and/or subsidiaries and the site (delays, complaints, payment reminders, etc.).
- Writes, prepares, sends price offers according to the rules in force and ensures that they are re-launched if necessary.
- Participates in contract reviews and applies the quotation grid.
- Creates new accounts and maintains data for existing ones.
- Provides the necessary elements for reporting.
- Knows incoterms and shipment regulations.
- Enters and tracks the customer order.
