Location: Bedfordshire
Duration: 6-month initial contract (strong chance of extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £36 to £39 per hour (depending on experience)

As a CWD Social Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families, ensuring their needs are met through high-quality, person-centred care and safeguarding interventions. You'll manage a varied caseload of complex cases, working collaboratively across services to promote independence, inclusion, and positive long-term outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Undertaking holistic assessments of children with disabilities, including statutory assessments under the Children ActDeveloping and reviewing care and support plans, including Child in Need and Child Protection plansWorking in close partnership with families, schools, health professionals, and voluntary servicesPreparing clear, evidence-based reports for reviews, panels, and court where requiredAdvocating for children’s rights and ensuring their voices are central to care planningParticipating in multi-agency safeguarding processes and strategy discussions
