Job Title: SEN TutorLocation: Leicestershire, LeicesterSalary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hourJob Duties:
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievements and challenges
Required Qualifications:
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Degree in Education or related fieldExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN studentsKnowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of different learning styles and needs
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual students
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Empathy and patience in supporting students with diverse needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications in Special Education
  • Experience with assistive technologies
  • Training in behaviour management strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
