
Evening Hygiene Operative

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of hygiene tasks
- Deep cleaning after each shift or when required, especially after processing lamb / beef in production hall.
- Follow HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) protocols: ensure cleaning practices align with food safety regulations.
- Cleaning surfaces - thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting floors, ceilings, and machinery in the slaughter hall and boning hall areas after production.
- To be health and safety conscious, using the correct PPE to prepare chemicals and carry out your hygiene duties.
- Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance
- Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace
- To clean, separate and dispose of waste according to company policy
- To carry out general and specific hygiene duties in accordance with the methods and safe systems of work detailed on the cleaning instruction cards at the specified frequency.
- Able to work in a small team or independently; you will follow a cleaning schedule for the production lines, equipment, internal and external areas throughout the premises.
