We deliver a seamless, fast and trusted solution to these issues.Essential skills and experienceAshurst Reach are seeking a Cross-Practice Knowledge Lawyer to join our dynamic, global Knowledge & Expertise (K&E) team on a 9 month contract. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving legal excellence and innovation across a leading international law firm.As a Cross-Practice Knowledge Lawyer, you will lead and coordinate strategic initiatives to ensure our legal teams have the insights, skills, and tools needed to deliver exceptional client service. You will work closely with senior practitioners and colleagues across practices and regions, facilitating collaboration, promoting knowledge sharing, and supporting the development of best practice guidance and thought leadership.Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating responses to emerging legal and market developments by leveraging expertise from across the firm
  • Facilitating cross-practice collaboration to identify trends, opportunities, and insights
  • Planning and assisting with thought leadership campaigns and client publications
  • Promoting knowledge sharing and maintaining foundational cross-practice knowhow
  • Driving the adoption of next-generation technology, including AI tools
Essential Skills
  • Qualified lawyer in the UK, with experience at senior associate level or above
  • Background in transactional, litigation, or regulatory law, with a broad interest in legal practice
  • Experience in a knowledge function or a strong interest in transitioning to an expertise lawyer role from a fee-earning, in-house, or academic position
