MET Technician / Fitter – Belgium (Freelance / Limited Company)Location: Belgium – multiple sites
Rate: €27.00 – €30.00 per hour (£23.00 - £26.00 per hour) - depending on experience
Contract Type: Self-employed / Limited Company (PSC) contractors preferred – alternative solutions can be discussed
Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are looking for experienced MET Technicians / Fitters to join our client’s busy automotive workshop network in Belgium. This role involves stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components before and after body repair and paintwork. It’s an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to work on a variety of vehicles in a high-standard, well-equipped environment.What’s on Offer
  • €27.00 – €30.00 per hour, paid promptly. (£23.00 - £26.00 per hour)

  • Strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components before and after repair and painting.
  • Remove and replace damaged panels, parts, and trims as required.
  • Align and adjust components to manufacturer specifications.
  • Work to agreed deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Follow workshop health & safety and operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician / Fitter in a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Own tools and equipment preferred.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence.
  • Eligible to work in Belgium – A1 form and Limosa notification required (we will advise on this).
