AboutOur client is a dynamic and growing event management company specialising in corporate events for prominent clients in the UK and across the globe including Award Ceremonies, Xmas Parties and Gala Dinners with budgets ranging from 100K to £5M+.With hospitality at the heart of everything they do, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional experiences that consistently exceed expectations.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:We are looking for an exceptional Production Manager to join the team in Bagshot, Surrey.You will be responsible for specifying, procuring and managing the delivery of all production and technical services for an event.The position is full-time and offers the option of hybrid (3 days on site min) working following a successful six-month onboarding period.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to translate creative briefs into technically sound, deliverable solutions.Develop detailed production budgets and schedules, securing best value from suppliers through negotiation and industry knowledge.Perform site visits and provide technical assessments of venues.Understand an event’s creative vision and goals.Plan and manage all on-site production elements including AV, staging, lighting, and logistics from set-up through to de-rig.Act as the key point of contact on-site for production, liaising with event managers, suppliers, venues, and clients.Own and resolve any issues, adapting plans where necessary to ensure seamless delivery.Build and maintain a trusted network of contractors and suppliers, managing contracts and terms to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Ensure all legal, regulatory, and health & safety standards are met and adhered to throughout the event lifecycle.Establish and continually refine production processes to ensure high standards across all events.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESHigh personal standards and a professional appearanceConfident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsMotivated, passionate, and solutions-focusedCalm under pressure and able to work at paceA team player who collaborates openly and respects others’ viewsDetail-oriented and highly organisedSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESExtensive experience managing large-scale, complex events and multidisciplinary teamsStrong knowledge of audio-visual solutions and technical productionIn-depth understanding of health & safety regulations and on-site complianceFinancially astute with the ability to create and manage production budgetsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business softwareSkilled in negotiation, mediation, and supplier managementExperience using CAD software for technical layouts (preferred)Confident in presenting information clearly and persuasively to clients and colleaguesREQUIREMENTSProven hands-on experience in a similar production role, ideally within an agency or fast-paced events environmentExperience working on international events (preferred but not essential)Full UK driving licence requiredWHAT THEY OFFERHybrid working (after 6 months)20 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays, plus your birthday) increasing for each year of service (up to 5 years)Employer pension contribution (starting at 3% employer contribution increasing with years of service)Private Medical Insurance after 3 years’ serviceEnhanced parental leave pay increasing with length of service
