Position: Medical Lead
Hours: Full Time
Setting: Acute
Location: BorehamwoodYour key responsibilities will be;
- Take clinical responsibility for patients across acute and rehab wards
- Act as Responsible Clinician for detained patients under the Mental Health Act
- Support and supervise doctors on site, including Associate Specialists
- Contribute to governance, service strategy, and management meetings
- Lead MDT reviews and participate in strategic and risk planning
- Provide psychiatric insight to assessments, formulations, and care plans
- Deliver and support in-house training and clinical supervision
- Full medical qualification with MRCPsych (or equivalent)
- Previous Consultant experience within mental health
- Up-to-date understanding of developments in psychiatry and clinical care
- Experience in clinical governance and service development
- Leadership skills and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
- S12 & AC
- Up to £8,400 annual car allowance
