Job Details:Job Reference: HCC622086Salary Range: £27,780 - £30,564 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £16,893 - £18,585 per annum)Work Location: Glen House, SouthamptonHours per week: 22.5Contract Type: PermanentClosing Date: 16 September 2025Digital Strategy, Content Creation, Campaign Analysis and Event planning and coordinationThis role is with , the partnership Regional Adoption Agency for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, and Southampton local authorities, with the lead authority Hampshire County Council as the employer.The Role:We are looking for a creative and digitally confident Engagement and Events Officer to support our marketing and communications activities to encourage people to speak to us about adoption as well as raising awareness of the services available to adoptive families, birth relatives and adoptees.This part-time role is ideal for someone who has content creation experience, digital placement and event management skills. You will have a strategic mindset which is supported by data-driven insights and trends.What you'll do:
  • Support the development and delivery of digital marketing strategies across web, email, and social media
  • Write engaging, on-brand copy for our website, social media, and other campaign materials for our service teams.
  • Create social media films to be used on all the major social media platforms with a scheduling programme to increase followers and views.
  • Assist in forward planning of content and campaigns, aligning with recruitment and corporate objectives
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g. Looker Studio, social insights)
  • Use data to inform future content and campaign decisions
  • Help maintain and identify website content to be refreshed using data insights
  • Collaborate with our teams to ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice
  • Stay informed on digital trends and suggest new ideas to improve reach and engagement
  • Organise and manage online and in person events for recruitment and other adoption related objectives
What we're looking for:
  • Experience of creating campaigns and management for organisations with brand and corporate objectives to drive sales, awareness and advocacy
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong grasp of tone, grammar, and storytelling
  • Experience of digital platforms (e.g. social media, email marketing tools, CMS)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
  • Event management experience including online and in person for example, exhibitions, presentations, webinars and staff engagement days
  • Confident in planning ahead and contributing to digital strategy
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A team player with a creative mindset and attention to detail
