Full-time | PermanentWe are currently recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver to join a leading food production site based in Worksop.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who holds a valid and accredited Reach Truck Licence. The Reach Truck Driver must be confident working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Working hours:Hours of work:Week 1 - Monday to Friday Nights 22:00 - 06:00Week 2 - Monday to Friday - Afters 14:00 - 22:00Week 3 - Monday to Friday - Days - 06:00 - 14:00Week 4 - Saturday & Sunday - 0600-1800 or 1800-0600 (rotates weekly)Main duties include:
  • Safe operation of the milk station, meeting dumping targets set by the Shift Team Lead
  • Offloading and storing stock from incoming lorries, ensuring full traceability
  • Moving milk bags using a Reach Truck and topping up levels as needed
  • Ensuring all product is used on a released-only basis in line with FIFO (First In, First Out) policy
  • Carrying out daily stock checks and maintaining accurate records
  • Performing GMP and process checks as part of routine operations
  • Following strict EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), Food Safety, Hygiene, and Allergen rules
  • Reporting EHS, maintenance, or food safety issues according to site procedures
  • Following a clean-as-you-go policy and completing regular cleaning tasks
  • Participating in site-wide EHS and Food Safety initiatives
  • Using computer systems for stock rotation and communicating with delivery drivers
Requirements:
  • Valid, in-date, and accredited Reach Truck Licence
  • Previous warehouse experience (preferably in food production)
  • Confident working independently and taking ownership of key tasks
  • Computer literate - stock management and communication required
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong awareness of food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols
