To give you the best possible experience as a member of our team, our two to six-bedroom Residential Children's Homes are close to our Head Office and in-house Training venue in Crewe, Cheshire.Responsibilities of Support Worker:To enable you to build solid professional relationships and succeed as part of our team, you will dedicate your commitment to one Residential Children's Home to:
  • Provide daily care to looked after children (LAC) living in a group environment, ensuring the Home is clean, hygienic and well-equipped
  • Enable access to safe and supportive educational and leisure activities
  • Support the development of life skills including building and sustaining positive relationships and independence skills such as budgeting, shopping, and cooking
  • Represent Homes for Support and advocate for children in our partnership with professionals and families
Benefits & Salary:
  • Salary range: £25,200.00 to £39,564.00 (depending on the working pattern and professional qualifications)

  • 2 days work, 4 days off work (10 shifts per month, 150 hours per month and 14 days annual leave)

We care for Children and Young People ages 8 and 18 in residential homes in Cheshire and support families in the community of Cheshire and surrounding areas. Our services include Therapeutic Children's Homes, Supported Living accommodation and Community Outreach work. Our work focuses on Children and Young People with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning difficulties, vulnerable families and unaccompanied asylum seeker children.
