Role responsibilitiesWorking closely with the LUX Collection & Archive team, you'll handle film, video and digital moving image artworks - helping make the collection more accessible through cataloguing, digitisation, and preservation.Over 12 months, you'll gain experience and training in:
  • Cataloguing and metadata creation using a Collection Management System (CMS)
  • Handling, digitising and assessing analogue film & video
  • Understanding rights documentation and ethical archival practices
  • Environmental monitoring and sustainable preservation techniques
  • Sector-wide networking through archive visits, workshops, and expert mentoring
