
Group Transport Auditor

- Provide direction and coaching to all team members in the completion of internal audits.
- Perform internal Transport Compliance audits
- Help develop risk-focused audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Execute fieldwork, identify, and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Lead, support or perform follow-up testing of management action plans.
- Provide analytical feedback of audit results identify common trends, targeted areas of improvement in order to drive compliance culture across the group.
- Draft internal audit reports that clearly and concisely capture results of work performed including collaboration with management in the development of effective action plans in response to audit findings.
- Auditor will be expected to perform audits most of which will require travel, and when required, overnight stays.
- Look to plan in re-visits to sites that have poor audit .
- Be an excellent communicator, able to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Be delivery focused and self-motivated
- Take an analytical approach to transform complex information into clear and compelling messages, enabling effective decision making
- Be a team player who actively contributes to the overall success and delivery of the team objectives
- Be confident in making solo decisions and working independently
- Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodology and accepted risk and control frameworks.
- Experience in using data analytics is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (including filtering, macros, and pivot tables).
- Strong organisation, planning, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Should have transport experience and knowledge from working within a transport environment in either a management or compliance role, good understanding of legislation and operator undertakings.
