- Prior relevant work experience demonstrating extensive Finance Transformation and proven proficiency in finance operating model and service delivery model, financial process design and standardisation, automation and change management
- Solid experience in leading large and multi-functional teams during design and implementation. Fluency in defining and implementing Finance Transformation and Systems Implementation, Finance Function Strategy, building implementation Roadmap and Business case, Designing and Implementing Finance Operating model and its Services Catalogue, Governance, Enabling Technologies & Operational Support Processes.
- Fluency in end-to-end process optimisation levers across Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting processes.
- Background in Finance technology with experience in Finance system implementation for major vendors (Oracle, SAP, IBM etc.) having worked with Lean / Agile implementation methodologies
- Fluency in coordinating communicating and working between the Finance and the Technical IT Teams
- Knowledge of industry and technology trends impacting Finance functions
- Experience of working with a CFOs, C-Level and Finance Leadership assisting them, building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Proven ability to lead, manage and work effectively in multi-functional working teams in multi-stream programme managing diversity and providing mentorship and support to ensure team's continuous development
- Ability to contribute to the practice development with publications, approach, toolkits, benchmarks, position papers, studies, insights
- Experience working in Data Architecture, ETL development, and Data Warehousing across Finance and Accounting processes
- Experience working with Finance software vendors both in go-to-market activities, and design and implementation of the technology and surrounding processes and change management (e.g. BlackLine, High Radius, Kyriba, Xelix, etc.)
- Finance professional qualification such as (but not limited to): ACA, ACCA, CIMA
