Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Southampton, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.What will your responsibilities be?This role involves working within general adult mental health services, providing expert psychiatric care and clinical leadership. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and overseeing treatment plans, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality mental health services. The postholder will also participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
- Experience in general adult psychiatry
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
- A commitment to delivering patient-centred care
